The NSW Wildlife Council Inc. (NWC) is the peak policy body for wildlife rescue and rehabilitation in NSW representing over 3800 volunteer wildlife rehabilitators.

The aim of NWC is to improve outcomes for Australian wildlife, especially the sick, injured or orphaned. NWC reports to the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage, and is funded by grants from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and NSW Roads & Maritime Services.

A list of licenced wildlife care groups in NSW is available on the NWC website.
